Creating a photo real 3D dim sim (with sauce) was the kind of job we eat up.
When Marathon Foods became the official dim sim partner of Marvel Stadium, they needed a video to tempt the punter’s tastebuds. So our good friends at B! Brand Design briefed us on the Big Dimmie Energy concept, a 3D spinning dimmie with tasty soy sauce.
The dim sim had to walk the line between photo real and poster perfect. Using still references from the real thing, we modelled, textured and lit it to feel authentic, then gently dialled up the yumminess so it read loud and proud on stadium screens.

Don’t forget the sauce!
Rather than going full fluid simulation, the sauce was crafted by hand to match the bold, graphic reference. That gave us total control over the shapes and timing, letting the sauce hit just the right balance of tasty and theatrical.
